Whispers of the Wetland

The salt marshes at Thornham change completely with every single tide. I waded out into the muddy wetlands just as the water was beginning to recede, leaving small, perfectly still pools around these ancient, mossy wooden posts. A heavy, cloud-filled North Norfolk sky was moving quickly overhead, throwing a moody, cinematic light across the marshes. This frame captures that fleeting, quiet moment where the land slowly emerges back from the sea.
