Volcanic Fractures

Inside the narrow volcanic canyon of Las Grietas, the landscape feels entirely otherworldly. I walked deep into the sun-carved fissures, looking for a composition that would emphasise the heavy, repetitive patterns of the cooled volcanic ash layers. By rendering the frame in high-contrast black and white, I stripped away all distractions to focus purely on the deep shadows, raw rock textures, and the incredible geological history of Lanzarote.
