Chasing the light along the tidal marshes often means waiting for that brief, magical window where the wind drops completely to leave the water entirely motionless. I stood on the marshy bank at Burnham Overy Staithe as the sun dipped low, turning the entire sky into a soft, dreamlike gradient of pinks, oranges, and soft blues. The boats barely moved on their anchors, allowing me to frame a composition focused on pure, restful symmetry. This frame captures that exact moment of absolute coastal calm, freezing a quiet evening on the water when the rest of the world felt entirely silent.
