The Beacon of Happisburgh
I wanted to capture a classic, bright summer perspective of the historic Happisburgh Lighthouse. I positioned the camera low to the ground on the edge of a sweeping field of wind-blown green barley, letting the vibrant, fresh textures of the crop frame the scene. The crisp blue sky and the moving green fields balance beautifully with the bold, red-and-white stripes of the iconic beacon, evoking the bracing feel of a fresh North Sea breeze.
