The Beach Huts of Wells
Walking out onto the wide sand at Wells-next-the-Sea during the brightness of midday gives the coast a completely different energy. I wanted to move away from standard tourist snapshots to focus entirely on the incredible, repeating symmetry of these traditional stilted structures. Standing low on the sand to look down the straight line, I tracked the harsh sun as it illuminated the painted facades and cast deep, geometric shadows directly beneath the wooden stairs. This frame captures that exact feeling of quiet coastal heritage and sharp architectural balance under the high midday sky.
