There is a freezing clarity to the air on a Suffolk dawn that completely clears your head. I was the only person awake on the beach, standing in the surf as the first amber and pink light began to break over the horizon. I aligned the lens directly beneath the pier to transform the heavy, stilted architecture into sharp geometric lines, capturing that precise moment of early morning clarity just before the seaside town woke up.
