Iron and Ocean

Going underneath a Victorian pier feels like stepping inside an industrial cathedral. Walking along the wet sand at Cromer during low tide, I aligned my camera directly down the centre line of the structural iron columns. By stripping out the colour, the image focuses entirely on the powerful symmetry, the heavy diagonal cross-bracing, and the crisp reflections on the damp sand below, creating a bold, graphic piece of coastal architecture.
