I tracked the development of this barley field for weeks, waiting for the exact summer afternoon when the crop would reach its perfect, sun-matured golden colour. I set up the composition just as the warm golden hour light broke through the clouds, illuminating the heavy, organic textures of the ripe harvest. Rising proudly in the background, the sharp red-and-white stripes of the lighthouse create a beautiful geometric contrast, capturing a timeless moment of coastal heritage.
