Awakening of the Common
I woke long before dawn to catch the summer mist rolling across the heathland at Roydon Common nature reserve. Standing in the damp grass, I waited as the first morning light began to break through the fog, turning the sky into a soft palette of pinks and lavenders. The final frame catches the delicate, painterly silhouettes of the ancient trees rising out of the vibrant purple heather, preserving a beautifully quiet West Norfolk morning.
