Anchored in Calm
I arrived at the tidal creeks of Burnham Overy Staithe just as the evening light was fading into a deep, hazy twilight. The marsh air was dead silent, and the water became so perfectly glass-like that this lone fishing boat seemed suspended in mid-air. I waited for twenty minutes for the last ripples from a passing bird to completely disappear before hitting the shutter, wanting to preserve that absolute, unhurried stillness where the sky and sea become one.
